“That ICPA Qld works with Queensland Boarding Schools and educators to continue to raise awareness of, educate, and adopt safe smart phone use for our children.”
Explanation:
The risks and benefits of smart phone use are widely discussed with new research and evidence available every day. The Australian Government recently passed new legislation regarding Social Media age limits, for example. We congratulate educators for their commitment to our students especially those who are so far from home, and encourage them to continue to ensure that the best, highest standards and practices are in place for protecting our children from the harm that can come from irresponsible smart phone use.
